Nadya are you really from the Middle East?
Yes, I was born in Lebanon…I speak, read and write Arabic… Fluently!
Nadya What Style Dancing Do you Perform?
I specialize in Egyptian Cabaret style, Baladii and Saiidi as well… I incorporate Lebanese Folk Dancing
when the music calls for it.
What type of costumes do you where?
I perform in Striking two piece costumes, Baladi Dresses accented with colorful Veils and Zills (Finger
Cymbals).
Do You Allow Audience Participation?
You are encouraged to dance When I invite members of the audience to the dance floor.
Can We Take Pictures With You?
Of course, I am delighted to pose with you… please wait until I come around the audience or you may
wish to wait until after my performance for a group or personal photo.
Nadya How much do you charge?
It all depends on the length of the show, how many guests, how far I need to travel from Raleigh,
how many shows, Do you require any props, would the size of party require that I hire more dancers
or live musicians… May I suggest you call me for rates.
Do you dance the Zaffa at Weddings or Engagements?
Yes… I consider it a privilege!
Is Belly Dancing Family friendly?
Absolutely, In Lebanon and throughout the Middle East it is not unusual for women, men, and
children to get up and belly dance at family gatherings, weddings, birthdays, engagements, baby
christenings, bridal showers, graduations, and any happy celebrations.
Family Gatherings:
My shows are family friendly, if you think a belly dance costume will not offend your guests. Please visit
my photo gallery for an idea about the nature and designs of my costumes. I am more than happy to
go very conservative.
More covered and conservative costumes are available by special requests
Night Clubs:
Shows are more geared to adult audience with a NY Cabaret Style… I approach and dance for each
table … Encouraging couples to come and join me on the dance floor, if they wish.... My shows are
about having fun for all involved to make it a night out to remember.
Do you Dance at Bachelors Parties?
Sorry Gentlemen …NO !
How about Bachelorette/ Bachelors parties combined?
Yes and Only with the presence of the “Ladies”
How Long is Your Show?
My Show could runs anywhere from 10, 15, 20, to 30 minutes in length… It is your choice!
Longer shows are also available upon special request.
What does the show consist of?
a. A Grand Entrance where I dance with a veil
b. A slower song could be a (Cane dance or a Jug dance)
c. Hot songs with Audience Participation Encouraged…
d. Drum solo
e. Finale
Will Nadya dance with the guest of honor?
Absolutely!!!
Be prepared... Nadya will have the guest of honor involved…Also Hip scarves for the ladies are
provided to learn some hot shimmy moves.
Does Nadya dance to a Live Band or CD?
If your budget allows it…Yes, a band is good! Otherwise Nadya has her own CD of Hot, Lively and High
Energy songs to entertain and absolutely get your guests out of their seat.
Nadya… What is required of me (the client) for your performance?
For the Show:
a. A sound system and or CD Player with speakers and amplification. Your home CD entertainment
system works fine for up to 40 guests.
b. Clean, dry dance floor clear of food, liquids and especially little children (they could get hurt, if they
sneak up behind me as I am spinning).
c. Private dressing area
d. Access to a restroom and running water
e. Precise directions and map to performance location.
f. Name and phone number of contact person, if different than person booking the event.
g. The willingness to encourage all your guests to come and join me on the dance floor when I start
pulling them up…so they can have a fun and memorable time.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes, for any location over 30 miles Radius of North Raleigh.
Is tipping acceptable?
To show your appreciation, tipping is appreciated especially when done respectfully and in good taste.
How do I tip a Dancer?
1. The most Elegant way, Money gift in a thank you card ... Do not forget to mention how well you
loved the show, the costume, her encouragement of audience participation, her poise, and stage
presence…
2. Gracefully, you may roll $1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 100 … What ever you feel is appropriate, and gently
lift the bra strap and slip the money, or the sides of her belt. Please be careful, Crisp, New dollar bills
are sharp and can have a paper cut effect.
3. You may have a stack of single dollar bills and throw them in the air above her head…great for
photos while dancing with the birthday person.
4. You may tape single dollar bills to fit her wrists and some to go around her neck like a
Hawaiian flower lei
May We Write You a Testimonial?
I would love for you to do so… It will help future clients in their decision of hiring me for their special
event. A hand written Thank you Card is most appreciated and given at the end of the show.
An emailed photo of the birthday person with me would be very appreciated so I may post it on my
website next to your testimonial.
Booking Nadya:
How Far in Advance Do I need to do so?
The sooner you give yourself time, the better chance Nadya will be available...Cancellations rarely
happen.
How do I secure Nadya for my party?
a. A 50% non refundable deposit is required at time of booking will secure your party on her calendar
b. A contract will be emailed to you. Please read, sign and mail it back to Nadya. Please call
919) 332-0833 for the Address.
c. An invoice will be emailed to you as well.
Do you accept personal checks?
Yes personal are accepted only when paid in full 3 weeks prior to the party.
Do you accept cash?
Yes!
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes 4% additional service fee is added to your bill.
What happens if Nadya gets sick and cannot come to my party?
Nadya will hire another professional belly dancer at no extra cost to you.
